IoT is not just about using high-tech gear or high-tech and expensive equipment to develop cutting edge applications or hardware. The beauty of the information age is that relatively complex and very useful applications can also be developed using readily available development kits such as Raspberry PI, Arduino, antennae connectors etc. This workshop will run through practical examples of exactly how to achieve complex applications in a cost-effective way using less complicated devices. Bring your own laptop, ipad, or tablet if you want to learn along.
