Jill comes to venture capital from her previous role in economic development as the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the City of Detroit. She recognizes the importance that enabling technology innovation can play in driving communities forward. An integrative approach between venture capital and economic development can increase access to capital for entrepreneurs and access to valued technology innovations for residents.

The Startup Internship and Career Fair, which occurs in the fall and spring, features local startup companies looking for interns and full-time employees to help their startup grow. This event is open to ALL CURRENT UTD students of all majors and class. Both undergraduate and graduate students who are looking for an internship with a North Texas startup company are encouraged to attend.
UTD students have exclusive access to the event from 6:00-7:00 PM. The fair will be open to the community from 7:00-9:00 PM.
Are you a startup looking for interns and full-time employees?North Texas startup companies with either internship and/or full-time opportunities are encouraged to apply. Please allow up to 5 business days to receive the status of your application. Space is limited to 20 startup companies. All paid positions must be W-2 employees. UTD does not aid in the hiring process and is not responsible for the internship experience of the company and student. Please consult the UTD internship guide for employers for more information.
