Valerie Freeman is the founder and CEO of Dallas-based Imprimis Group, Inc. a leading supplier of staffing, search, human resource and outsourcing services.  The companies include Imprimis Staffing and Search, BravoTech, FreemanLeonard, Human Capital Solutions and Third Party Pay.  Imprimis has been in business for over 30 years and is one of the largest independently owned workforce solutions companies in Texas.  The companies operate in Dallas, Plano, Houston and Virginia. Her companies have received Inc.500/5000 awards, Dallas 100 awards and Cougar (Univ. of Houston) Top 100 awards and Women President’s Organization Fast 50.
Valerie is also a founder and Board member of ANSERTEAM, LLC, a national managed service workforce solutions provider and Texas Women Ventures, which makes investments in women owned and led companies.  She is also one of the founders of PrimeWomen.com, an online lifestyle magazine for women over the age of 50.  Past entrepreneurial ventures include serving as an organizer, director and shareholder of two banks and a founder of a computer aided design and drafting business.  She has also served on the Advisory Board of a business in the online fashion space.
She serves on the Advisory Council of the Alliance of Technology and Women where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Senior Advisory Council of the Women’s Business Council of the Southwest where she received the Women Business Enterprise of the Year Award.  She has also been the recipient of the Tech Titans Community Hero Award,  Athena Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber, the Woman of Distinction Award from the Girl Scouts, the Maura Award from the Dallas Women’s Foundation In and the Outstanding Business Leader Award from Northwood University.  She has been honored by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the 25 most influential women in business and DCEO Dallas 500 in 2016.  In 2011 she was inducted into the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame. Past awards also include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and NAWBO’s National Business Owner of the Year.
Over her 30 year career, Valerie has served on many civic and nonprofit boards.  She is the past chair of the boards of the DCCCD Foundation and the Girl Scouts of NE Texas.  She is now wrapping up a 7-year Director role with The Dallas Foundation having served on the Audit Committee.  She is currently on the board of the North Dallas Chamber.  She is a member of YPO (YPO Gold), Executive Women’s Roundtable, Dallas Assembly, International Women’s Forum and Dallas Summit.  She also mentors young technology students from UTD.
Valerie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from the University of Houston where she was honored as Distinguished Alum.
